My family and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. I met and became friends with Ms. Jimmie as we all called her when she worked at Custer Road United Methodist Church. She took care of my two grandchildren Dalton and Devlin. I remember many times showing up at the childcare door with a very hesitant Dalton and a screaming Devlin. Ms. Jimmie would give Dalton and big smile and a hug…. it was all he needed… She would hold out her arms and Devlin would fly into them and stop crying in minutes…..Ms. Jimmie was the only one she would go too… Even as teenagers and would see her in the hallway they would run to get hugs and kisses from her… I think of her often as I walk the hallways at church and I will be praying for her in our chapel tomorrow .
