Jimmie Karen Jones' Obituary
On February 19, 2024, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother, Jimmie Karen Jones, passed away at the age of 77. A granddaughter of the American Revolution, Karen was born on October 21, 1946, in Henderson, Texas, where she married her high school sweetheart, Curtis Wayne Jones and were married for 57 years before his passing in 2022.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother Lois Lynch and her father Howard Lynch. She is survived by her sister Sandra Gaile, brother Steven Lynch, daughter Jennifer (Jones) Strippoli, son Finnigan Jones, as well as grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
We will forever cherish our time with Karen and forever be fond of the love she gave.
There will be a memorial service in Karen's honor at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
In Lieu of flowers, donations to any animal or nature charity in Karen's honor would be preferred.
