I worked with Dwayne when we were both new to TI in 1978. We were both manufacturing supervisors on Speak n Spell, a blockbuster of a success for TI. Dwayne was a solid guy in every way, I didn't know him well, but I liked him and so did everyone else. He advanced nicely along the way and somehow, I did not hear about this. Bruce Barton, Omer Mickle, Esther Ortiz and others should be aware of his passing. So sad to hear about people you knew, die. God Bless Dwayne Kelley.
Although 2 years late, I only knew now, I will will always have fond memories of Dwayne as a dependable and helpful person throughout my work at TI. I do believe that he is completely happy where he is at right now and I know his family family always inspired him to be the best he can be.
