Jimmy Crumby's Obituary
Deacon Jimmy Crumby was born the parentage of Mr. Ambrus Crumby and Mrs. Adell Farley Crumby in Marshall, Texas. Both preceded him in death. He attended school in the Marshall Independent School District, later moving to Dallas to attend Dallas Independent School District. He also attended Bishop College. After which, he joined the Army and was Honorably Discharged. He was retired from Continental Electronics in Dallas for 38 years and Richardson ISD for 5 years. Mr. Crumby was married to his beloved wife, Mrs. Frankie Bradford Crumby for 62 years. To this union three sons were born Ronnie James (deceased), Shannon L., and Wayne Paul Crumby. He was an active member of the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was a Sunday school teacher, a member of Brotherhood, an Usher, and a Deacon. Preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Ambrus and Mrs. Adell Farley Crumby; his son: Ronnie James Crumby; his brothers: Bennie. Lawrence, Earl, and Jack Crumby; his sisters; Ora Lee Hanney and Aubrey Masters. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving devoted wife Frankie Crumby; sons Shannon and Wayne (Stella) Crumby; five grandsons Ronnie Jr., Sendric, Shannon II, JunRon, and JuWayne Crumby; five granddaughters Shaw (Marvin), Felicia, Ebonie, DeShannon and Shenequel; three great grandchildren Ronnie III and Courtland Crumby; 5 great-granddaughters Marshae, Ciara, Ineisha, Tianna and Shami; one great grandson Christhoper Dewayne Jones II; one great granddaughter Journei Crumby; six brothers Bennie of Dallas, TX (deceased); Ambrus Jr. of Chicago, IL; Calvin of Los Angeles, CA, Lawrence of Ft. Worth, TX (deceased); Earl (deceased), and Jack Crumby (deceased); two sisters Ora Lee Hanney and and Audrey Masters both deceased and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
