Jimmy Dwight Giles of Mesquite, TX passed away August 16, 2009 in the arms of his loving wife Patricia Giles. Born on November 1st. 1946 in Sherman, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy Horton and Otis Giles. Survived by his wife Patricia Giles of 37 years. Brother Ronnie Giles and his wife Mary. Daughter Jamie Harris and husband Aaron , sons Dennis McCartney and Timmy Giles. Grandchildren Lani Proper, Asher Harris, Justin Giles. Corinne, Christine, Robert, and Roman McCartney. After a long battle with cancer Jimmy is now at peace. Jimmy served his country in the US Army. Veteran in the Vietnam war. He will be laid to rest at DFW Memorial Cemetery on August 20, 2009. He loved to fish , breed birds ,and cook for his family. His strong since of independence,strength, and stubbornness will be forever with us.
