Jimmy Ray Savage's Obituary
Mr. Jimmy Ray Savage was born on November 21, 1929 in Dallas, Texas to James Walter Savage and Madge Mae (Marr) Savage who preceded him in death. He passed away on May 13, 2011 in McKinney, Texas. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mrs. Norma Post Savage; daughters, Cindy Savage Franks and her husband Randy Franks, and Cheryl Savage Hoyt and her husband Jerry Hoyt; nephew, Ken McQuade; grandchildren, Ryan Franks and his wife Sarah, Jason Hoyt and his wife Ashley, Russell Franks and his wife Kristin; Joel Hoyt and his wife Stacy, Jessica Franks Annett and her husband Cody and Wendy Luke ; and by nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Savage was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He also gave 35 years of service at Sun Oil Company of Dallas in Gas accounting. Visitation will begin on Sunday May 15, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Monday May 16, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Restland Cemetery with Dr. Michael Waco officiating.
