Jimmy Robert Taylor's Obituary
Jimmy Robert Taylor, 80, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. He was born on January 13, 1940 in Hood, Texas to Hubert and Lettie (Bryant) Taylor.
Jim married Adrienne in 1973 in Irving, Texas . They were happily married for 47 years.
Jim was a member of the Irving Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He enjoyed traveling, watching the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his family.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Lettie Taylor; his sisters Doris Favors, Billie Tatum and Bobbie Malo; and his brother Harold Taylor.
Jim is survived by his spouse Adrienne of Dallas, Texas; his son Randy (Darcy) Taylor of Grand Prairie, TX; his son Kevin (Julie) Thacker of Southlake, TX; his daughter Karen (Barry) Geer of Krugerville, TX; his grandchildren Jenna Greenwood, Sean Taylor, Colton Geer, Kenny Thacker, and Kyle Thacker; his great-grandchildren Aspen Geer and Carlie Greenwood; and his loving nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at the DFW National Cemetery , at 2:00 pm Monday, December 28, 2020.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, TX 75219.
