Jo-Ann M. Devlin's Obituary
Jo-Ann M. Devlin, 77, of Plano, passed away June 15, 2023, at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Care Center in Dallas. Services are pending.
Jo-Ann was born September 18, 1945, in New York, New York, to William and Margret Shea. On October 8, 1966, she married James P. Devlin. Together they built their lives in Plano and raised two sons, Michael, and James.
Later in life Jo-Ann received her Associates of the Arts Degree in Medical Transcription and worked for Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas until her retirement in 2006.
Family was the center of Jo-Ann’s life. She enjoyed spending holidays and other special events with her family, friends, and neighbors. Jo-Ann enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings at her home where she had the opportunity to spoil her grandchildren and enjoy great meals.
She was preceded in death by her husband James; parents William and Margret Shea; sister Billie O’Keefe; and best friend June DeAngelis
She is survived by her sons, Michael Devlin and wife, Shelli, James Devlin, and wife, Ailsha; grandchildren Morgan Devlin; Corey Devin; Railey Devlin; James Devlin; Colby Devlin; nephews Danny O’Keefe; Chris O’Keefe; cousins John and wife Kerry Benson, and Dan Benson.
The family would like to thank the staff of the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Care Center and the Legacy Willow Bend for the care they provided to our mother over the last several months. The family also extends a special thank you to Ed and Barbara Arnold, Vince and Diane Guytan, and Jim and Margaret Ghraham for your steadfast help and friendship to Jo-Ann over many years.
