Jo Ann Butler's Obituary
JoAnn, loving mother and grandmother, was born July 23, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas and passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2016 in Ennis, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Gladys Smith, her brother, Dale Smith and the love of her life, Tom Butler. JoAnn is survived by her children, Michael Butler and his wife, Kristi, granddaughter, Torrie Butler and great grandson, James; Nina Webb and her husband, Richard, granddaughter, Stevie Webb, grandson, Blanton Webb, his wife, Sarah and great granddaughter, Stella; Sally Maydak and her husband, Frank, granddaughter, Crystal Baird and her husband, Philip, great granddaughters, Trista and Zoe, and great grandson Grayson, grandson, Jason Morse and great grandsons Kane and Konnor; Matthew Butler and granddaughter, Jacey Harwell; She also leaves her sister, Martha Winningham and niece Diane Davis; niece, Sherry Tucker and great niece, Kimberly Tucker. The family will receive friends on June 2, 2016 from 6 to 8p.m., at the Abbey Chapel of Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on June 3, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the same location, the Abbey Chapel of Restland Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Michael Butler, Matthew Butler, Richard Webb, Blanton Webb, Rusty Polston, and Cully Clark. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
