Jo Lawson was one of my favorite teachers at Victor H. Hexter. She taught me math when I was in the 6th and 7th grade. I was in Miss Lawson's math classes in the school year 1963-64 and 1964-65. Because of her, math became my favorite subject in school. I admired Miss Lawson as a teacher when I was in the 6th and 7th grade, and now reading her obituary, I see what a remarkable lady she was during her lifetime. David Bynum
