Muhammed Ali said, "Don't worry about the days of your life; focus on the life of your days." I don't know whether Jo Anna McWilliams ever heard that, but she certainly lived it. Jo Anna packed more in to her life than most people who live to a ripe old age. I had the privilege of serving under her leadership on the Board of Toastmasters International when she was International President. Some of her qualities that stood out for me were intelligence, fairness, good judgement, and a steadfastness of purpose. Jo Anna seemed to excel at anything she put her mind to. Fortunately for us, she excelled at the art of living and left us with indelible memories of what it means to live life with faith, dedication, purpose, and hope. Bruce, Sharon and I know that you must miss her immensely. We will miss her too. But the impact she made on us will never be forgotten…and thousands of Toastmasters the world over are better off because of her contributions. The flower now blooms on the other side, but her fragrance will always remain. Thank you, Jo Anna.
