Jo Linda Broach Ray's Obituary
Jo Linda Broach Ray was a life-long Dallas resident. She was born January 19, 1939, to Alton and Grace Broach. Jo graduated from North Dallas High School in 1957. She attended North Texas State University.
Jo married James Ray in 1959. Jo was a homemaker and assisted James in his home construction business. Jo and James had two sons, Mark and Matt.
Jo was a member of the Walnut Hill Church of Christ since the mid 1960s. She taught Bible class and Vacation Bible School and volunteered in Joy Explosion.
Jo is survived by her son, Mark and his wife Janet, also her son Matt and his husband Raul,
Her grandchildren, Tabitha Ray and Austin Ray. A nephew, Brad Branch and his wife Amy, and great nieces and nephew Brianna Branch, Sydney Swarts, and Diego Branch. A sister-in-law, Brenda Ray, and niece Heather Banks.
Jo is preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, James Ray. her parents Al and Grace Broach,
her sister Barbara Broach Branch, and her nephew Scott Branch.
A memorial service will be held at Walnut Hill Church of Christ in Dallas, Texas on September 14 at 10:00 am.
