I've known JoAnne my entire life. She used to babysit me when I was a baby. When I was little, she taught me how to dip my toast in my fried eggs, just to get the yolk and not the white. She introduced me to Canton and the Texas State Fair, while I was in college. I'll remember Christmas' spent at her home and how terrific she was as a decorator. I always thought, growing up, that she was the epitomy of a Southern Belle, so gentile, proper and sweet. Although we haven't been in touch too much in the past couple of years, I will miss her very much.
