For the seven years I worked with Joan in her showroom, House of Ross, at the Apparel Mart in Dallas, she was always a lady. I wanted to emulate her. I have tried to instill the same in my daughter. Dearest Shawn, I only just happened upon the estate sale for your Mum last year. (on the internet) I am so sorry I lost touch with her after Mom died. I guess I worked too much and neglected so much. I know no matter how long you had her with you, it wasn't long enough. She was such a remarkable, talented and charming.
