Joan Owen's Obituary
Owen, Joan was born on November 18, 1932 in McKinney, Texas and passed away on July 27, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. She married the love of her life Jerry. They had been married for almost 58 years. Joan was a long time member of Park Cities Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, George B. “Jerry” Owen; daughter, Joyce Heine; grandchildren: Amy Zimmermann and husband, Matt; Laura Moore and husband, Matt; Caitlin Kurz and husband, Karl; and Kelsey Heine; great grandchildren: Wesley and Watson Zimmermann, and Maddie Moore. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Restland Memorial Park. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Ellis Chapel at Park Cities Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Prime Time Ministry @ Park Cities Baptist Church.
