Joan Carol Wolfe's Obituary
WOLFE, JOAN C. Born June 24, 1934 in St. Peter, MN and passed away December 8, 2011 in Plano, TX. Joan is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, David A. Wolfe; grandson, Peter Meier; and her parents, Jady and Josephine Larson. She is survived by her children, Randy, Rhonda, and Renee; grandchildren, David, Catherine, Timothy, Nicole, Megan, and Kelly; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Beverly Murrell; and several nieces and nephews. Joan worked in the medical field for many years. She was a dedicated church member, was active in several church organizations, volunteered at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and at the church office; and was a member of the Stephen Ministries. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00PM, Monday, December 12th at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, December 13th at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1919 Independence Pkwy in Plano. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
