JoAnn Garrett of Dallas,Texas passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019. She celebrated 82 years on this Earth.JoAnn Garrett was born on December 26, 1936 to her parents: Thomas Clayton Johnson and Pauline Pirkle Johnson. She retired from Central Shipping and Inspection Bureau in 1996 after 41 years of dedicated service. Joann will be sincerely missed by her loving family, including her husband, Dennis Garrett and her two sons: Jay Garrett and wife, Marlene, John Garrett and wife, Donna; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.A Celebration of Joann Garrett’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at 10:00 AM in The Chapel of the Wildwood in Restland Cemetery, located at 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75243. Interment will be at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
