JoAnn McLean, 82, of Dallas,TX was born on September 8th, 1940 in Dallas, TX to Charlie and Rosie Fegara. On May 26th, 2023 JoAnn went to be with the Lord.
JoAnn married the love of her life, Clarence McLean, on October 3rd, 1959 in Dallas, TX. They were married for 60 years when the Lord called her beloved husband home in 2019. JoAnn proudly wore the many hats of Wife, Mom, Nana, Homemaker, Co-worker, Caregiver, Prayer Warrior and finally Resident at her Independent Living Community, The Landon of Lake Highlands.
JoAnn joyfully loved cooking and entertaining her family and friends, especially at the holidays. Pasta and Meatballs were always a family favorite! She was a gifted painter and an avid reader, mostly focusing on spy thrillers. She was ready to travel in a heartbeat and was delighted to finally travel to Italy with her husband on their 49th wedding anniversary. There was a little competitive spirit in her as she was regularly up for playing card games and board games, especially Rummikub, with her friends at The Landon; she was particularly thrilled when she would win!
JoAnn was a beautiful woman inside and out who deeply loved her Lord, family and friends and was deeply loved in return. She will be deeply missed.
