Darla
Mom, no other like you. I am blessed and proud God choose you for my mother. It will be 5 years this year since your passing. I still miss you. I often see your smile and hear your voice. You cared for us children like no mother I've seen. Working hard to support us. We never did without. I miss your fun quirky side. It was you who taught me to be kind to others, love the Lord and keep things clean. You taught me to budget my money and how to have manners. All those years you stood by me and held my hand through my toughest times. You were my living angel, my hero and the one I could count on above all others. I have cried rivers for you. Many things I have pen for you over the years. Some you got. And never will I forget all the lovely thank you notes and love letters you wrote me over the years. You were a great speaker and writer. I got my poetry from you. I'll never know just how you carried such a load all those years. You were a miracle worker. You loved music, dance and travel. And so do I! I miss seeing you thrill over things. I can't thank you enough. And I one day will hug your neck again. I love you mom! Darla
