Joann Thurman Wood, born 10/19/1937 in Tyler, Texas and passed away 06/10/2019 in Dallas, Texas.Preceded in death by her father Cedric Thurmon, her mother Josephine Gable Thurmon and infant son Greg Thomas.Survived by her husband of 18 years Bobby Frank Wood, her son Todd Owen Thomas, his wife Ruth Ann Thomas, grand daughters Morgan Ann Thomas and Sarah Taylor Thomas. All of the Dallas Area.Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 12:30 pm at Restland Wildwood Chapel, with burial to follow.She was a life long Dallas area resident and the most popular girl in the North Dallas High School graduating class of January 1956, she attened Texas Tech University. Worked for Paragon. Retired in 2001.
