Jocelyn J. Johnston's Obituary
JOHNSTON, JOCELYN (JO) SIDES-JARRELL Born June 1, 1934 in Denton, TX and passed away August 12, 2008 in Carrollton, TX from a 2 year battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jordon and five of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter Jill Blue and husband Wayne, daughter Janis Johnson and husband Tim; granddaughters Nicole Blue, Natalie Miller and husband Floyd, Jennifer Pitcock and Jamie Pitcock; great grandson Trenton Blue; great granddaughter Isabella Tyler; twin brother Tommy Sides and wife Patt and numerous close friends including Nelda Ebert, Rozelle Hart, Evelyn House, Patti Clifton and her childhood friends in the Denton “Lunch Bunch”. Jo worked for 30 years at Zale Corporation in the treasury department making numerous lasting friendships before retiring at the age of 61. She was a very talented writer of stories and poetry, having several of her poems and one story published. She loved to travel the U.S. and went to Europe twice in her lifetime. she was lovingly named “Honey”by her grandchildren.
