Joe Howard Dodson's Obituary
Joe Dodson Howard was born on November 28, 1916 in Como, Texas. He was one of ten children born to John and Fannie Dodson, survived by daughter, Jan Rhea Dodson; sister, Willa Jost of Desoto, TX; brother, Julian Dodson of Aubrey, TX many nieces and nephews. He served in Patton’s 3rd Army Engineer’s during WWII where he received many medals and accomodations, in 1986. He worked for Newman and Melton Graphics for 50 years, becoming the CEO and retiring in 1986. A member of Wilshire Baptist Church for 53 years, and a member of J.W. Naul’s Bible class, a member of Lakewood Country Club for 54 years where he enjoyed Golf with his many friends. His wife of 72 years, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and five sisters.
