Edie Aleman Thompson
Joe was the Father of a dear friend of mine Kevin Estes. I remember as a young teenage girl having wonderful fellowship with the Estes family and even traveling with them on a vacation to the Gulf of Mexico. We all enjoyed going out to eat, spending time together and of course were all members of Sunny Glen Baptist Church in Oak Cliff. This is where I met the Estes and I hold dear memories of the entire family in my heart. Joe was alway a true representative Christ and the love and devotion he had for his family was admired by all. I remember we had a wonderful conversation about Salvation and Sanctification. He was often seen by me reading his bible. He will be missed.
