Joe "Skippy" Franklin Spillman's Obituary
Joe “Skippy” Franklin Spillman of Arlington, Texas passed away on December 29, 2017. He was born on March 11, 1961, to Robert Frank Spillman and Clara Mildred Nickens in Garland, Texas. He married Sherry Murphy on September 2, 1989, in Dallas, Texas. “Skippy” was a car dealer, since 1987, and worked at Sewell Cadillac and John Eagle Lincoln Mercury. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Spillman; daughter, KayCee Spillman Florreich (Jared); sisters, Alice Kenney and Debra Gollihugh; and brother, Robert Frank Spillman, Jr.; and grandchild, Bryce Florreich.“Skippy” will be remembered for being a very kind, loving and generous person who gave to all. He loved his business and had many repeat customers. He loved his grandson who will treasure the memory of Pop-Pop teaching him how to fish.A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 12:00 PM in Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
