Joe Valintine Ritter's Obituary
RITTER, JOE VALINTINE born November 17, 1924 in Hazel, Oklahoma and passed away October 20, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Lena Ritter; sisters, Goldie Selby and Lola Veasman; brother, Harold Ritter, step mother, Lela Ritter; and step sister, Violet. Joe is survived by his wife, Pearl; daughter, Joyce; sons, Tommy, Jimmy and Brian; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and sisters, Lois Birkett, Lillian McDonald and Evelyn Hamilton. Joe was a big joker who had a good sense of humor, lovable and a good fixer upper who could fix anything. He could also do wonders with duct tape. Anytime he was asked, he was ” just piddlin.” He loved his family. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 23rd at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 24th at Restland Memorial Chapel.
