Joena Marie Shipley's Obituary
Joena Marie Shipley, 79, of Richardson, Texas died November 30th, 2017. She was born August 22nd , 1938 to Corbie and Fannie Causey in Caddo Mills, Texas. She attended Caddo Mills High School and worked in the banking, dental and L’Oréal distribution industries. Joena was an avid gardener and active member of First Baptist Church Dallas and the Presidents’ Sunday School class. She was Gammy to her grandchildren, mom to her kids and Jo to husband and friends.She is survived by daughter Pam Haigwood, grandchildren, Tim Haigwood (and wife Abigail), Amanda and Victoria Hudson, and great-granddaughter Claire Haigwood. She is also survived by her husband’s children, Cindy Hudson (and husband Adam), Michael Shipley, Steve Shipley (and wife Eugenia) and numerous other family members. She was proceeded in death by Jimmy Shipley, faithful husband of 33 years; brother Max Causey (and wife Rosemary).A memorial service will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, December 9th, 2017, at the Abbey Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX, 75243.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the First Baptist Dallas Presidents’ Class
