John William Aiuvalasit Sr.'s Obituary
In loving memory of John W. Aiuvalasit, our beloved husband, son, father, brother and grandfather. He was born on April 27, 1956 in New Orleans, LA and passed away on December 21, 2008 in Richardson, TX. He graduated from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston, TX in 1974 and from The University of Texas at Austin in 1978 with a Bachelors Degree in Government. John made his career as a computer specialist with the Internal Revenue Service, serving faithfully for close to 28 years. John loved baseball, especially the Texas Rangers, as well as history, astronomy, movies, and all things relating to computers. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Mr. Anthony G. Aiuvalasit. He is survived by his wife Amanda and his four children: Michael and wife Leslie, John Jr. and wife Kimsan, Margaret Clare (Maggie) and James Cranston, and his grandson Sean Anthony, whom he adored. He is also survived by his mother, Clare M. Aiuvalasit, and his siblings, Anthony Jr. and wife Marcie and Joan Stewart and husband Dale and their families. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Dec 27, 2008, at 2:30 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 S. Jupiter Rd., Richardson, TX 75081, with interment at Restland Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Forum at the church. John will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
