Grampa, I just gave a man amazing speech in front of City council, speaking against data centers…You would be so proud 🤍 I made you the center of my speech, and talked about Artemis, Apollo, and your favorite sayings: “If it walks like a duck” and “knowing that you don’t know”. Sorry for the copywright infringement;) I love you and miss you so much. There are no words for what I would give to spend one more day with you here on earth. I’ve finally made a successful career for myself - in nursing…Can you believe that I finally get science?! I wish I had asked you so many things, I didn’t appreciate fully your contribution to technology and foreign affairs when you were here, I know I was too young. You were right about not going into pharmacy and becoming “a pill counter”…I love you more than words, I’m pretty sure aliens are real and you about them, and I’ll see you soon wherever you are out there…🤍🤍🤍
Merry Christmas, Daddy. Jena and Tim and I just finished our Christmas together. It was very cozy here with ham, blackeyed peas, potatoes with cheese and bacon and fresh pineapple and orange salad. The big present was the very presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I know you are doing well with Him. May God Bless you in the Heavenly Realm and all the people on God's Earth. Thank you for all you did for me while you lived here on Earth. I love you very, very much, and miss you.
More than ever now, Gary and I so treasure that we were on the Italy trip together in 2004 — "Cry Out and Shout" still rings in my ears, joyfully, knowing how much John loved that particular piece! I will be listening closely in Choir and I just know I'll hear that wonderful bass still. Pha, much love to you and the family.
Happy Thanksgiving to the memory of my Dad, whom some call, "Poppa," and "Granpa," and to all who love him. Let us all remember our loved ones and gives thanks to the The Blessed One, The Lamb that was Slain, the Holy One of Israel, Emmanual, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
Dad, it will be one year on Monday. I miss you so much. I wish you were still here so I could see your kind eyes and hear your lovely warm voice speak to me. I will come by Monday to visit your place with Mom and maybe Jane. The world feels empty without you. I will always adore you, Daddy. – Dana
Would like to offer my condolences to Dana and her family for their loss. He is in the hands of God and I hope that each and every one of you will celebrate his life. God Bless each and every one of you. Barbara Knox, Greenville, Texas
John, Pha and family are the best of people. Always cheerful and helpful and formed the heart of our neighborhood.
What I remember most about John is his cheerful disposition and crazy ( sometimes ) humor. One of my first dealings with him was when Dana and I snuck our of the window of her room back in the 60's. We did not get in any serious trouble but I remember coming home in the dark and having MY MOM scare the cr–out of me.. Thank God we were safe back then. John- you will be missed Rest in peace! Love Jennifer~
John was more than just friend, singing in the base section. He was one of the few that understood my career. He made me feel important and enjoyed talking about engineering and surveying methods. I will truly miss, John.
