Preceded in death by Father-John Bass; Mother-Dorothy Earline Coursey, Infant daughters-Sandy Ruth and Treasa Jean; Brother- Fayne Bass. John is survived by, Daughter Jaye Anna Covey; son in Law, Mitchell Covey; Daughter, Wendy Bates; Son in law, David Bates; Grandkids: Jacob Covey, Dylan Covey, Victoria Covey, Klay and Crystal Armstrong, Julie and Irving Camacho; 7 great grandchildren; Sister, Reba Blaylock; Brother in Law, Bennie Blaylock; Sister, Brenda Nix; Brother in law, Junior Nix; Sister in Law, Ann Bass; Tons of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 9- 11 AM on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Restland Memorial Chapel.
