I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of John Bentley. I first met Mr. and Mrs. Bentley through their youngest daughter, Jan, when we visited their home in Cedar Hill. What a lovely couple they were.
Every time Jan and I went to visit John after Meme passed away, he always tried to feed us. He would take me into the kitchen to show me his latest kitchen gadget collection. LOL!
I will never forget when my own father passed away in late 2017, John hugged me tightly and told me that he could be my dad if I wanted. What a sweet, sweet memory that is.
To my regret, I moved away, and hadn't visited him for the last 3 years. My segregate dad will be sorely missed. May you rest in God's perfect peace, John.
