John "Bobby" Joseph Neely's Obituary
John "Bobby" J. Neely, age 87, of Dallas, Texas was born on February 8, 1935, in Plano, Texas to Bernie and Gladys (Tripp) Neely. He passed away on December 24, 2022, in Mesquite, Texas. He served in teh U.S. Army from 1952 - 1956 during the Korean war.
On November 16, 1967, Bobby married Norma Stanton in California. He worked for Semitech / Dac Vision for 38 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernie Neely and Gladys Collier; brother, Bill Collier and sister, Jean Williams.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 55 years, Norma Neely; daughter, Lisa Knight (Leonard); son, John Thompson, grandchildren, Melissa Knight Tambourine (Adam) and Jason Knight (Rebekah); great grandchildren, Tyler Tambourine and Caden Tambourine; sister, Martha Clarke and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Viewing/Visitation will begin at 12:30pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, with the Funeral Service starting at 130pm at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. Burial will follow, also at Restland Memorial Park.
