John “Sike” Brown was born on January 19, 1949 in Akron, Ohio and passed away February 13, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Brown of Akron, Ohio. John is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Belinda Brown; daughters, Jowaun Brown of Akron, Ohio, Kesha Mitchell of Houston, Texas, and Deidre Carlton (Jacob) of Arlington, Texas; sons, Jeffrey Brown of Akron, Ohio, John Brown of Los Angeles, California, Jason Brown of Dallas, Texas, and Brandon Brown of Austin, Texas; brothers, Greg (Cozetta) of Cincinnatti, Ohio, Gary (Crystal) Brown of Akron, Ohio and Edgar Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio; and sister, Pam Idahosa and Wendy (Brain) Keaton; eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The service for John Brown will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 17, 2017 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
