John Kaleb Cherry's Obituary
John Kaleb Cherry, age 39, of McKinney, TX, was born on November 12, 1983, in Garland, TX to Claudia and Marlin. He passed away on October 29, 2023.
John will be remembered for his love for the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and cooking. All manly things. He loved guns and being the main guy in the Armor. He served in the Army with more love, passion, and zeal than anyone in the world. He deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and was most proud of being 101st Airborne. He loved Texas and being a Texan. He was a loving father, with the tenderest of hearts. He was so funny and the most loyal friend and family member. He would do anything for anyone, and he knew God. He was the fiercest protector of his family, friends, and this country. He served in the Army from 2005 to 2016 as a Sergeant.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, his grandparents, his uncles Kent Paluga, Kent Cherry, David Cherry, and Mark Cherry, and his cousin Ashley Paluga.
He is survived by his mother, Claudia Mullins and her husband Mike Mullins; father, Marlin Cherry; sister, Kyra Cherry; brother, Shane Cherry and his wife Lisa Cherry; children, Lillian Grace Cherry, Olivia Iris Cherry, Karder Everette Cherry and his mother, Kimberly Sullivan; and countless childhood friends and his Military brothers and sisters.
There will be a graveside service on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 1300, held at Restland Cemetery in the Field of Honor, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243.
