John William Cooksey's Obituary
John William Cooksey was born February1,1968in Dallas Texas, passed away on July 7, 2023 in Royse City, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Olin Worden Cooksey, mother, Dorothy Jean Wicks-Cooksey. He is survived by his loving wife, Kerry Cooksey, son, Taylor Cooksey and daughter-in-law, Reba Cooksey, granddaughter Samantha Cooksey; daughter Sara Cross, and son in law William Cross; sister Laura Cooksey; nieces Laura Michelle Kirby and Jennifer McDaniel; and numerous friends who have become family over the years. John was loved many for his outgoing, loving personality which caused infectious laughter for all that knew him. Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, 2:00PM at Restland Memorial Chapel with visitation from 1:00-2:00PM.
