John David Dobbin's Obituary
John David Dobbin, 81, of Dallas, Texas passed away on May 16, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on August 26, 1937, to Virgil S Dobbin and Jewel Dobbin in Dallas, Texas. He married Patricia Burk on June 12, 1974, in Durant, Oklahoma. He was a supervisor for several public transportation companies throughout his career. He served in the Army from July 1960 to July 1966 as a Staff Sargeant. He loved all forms of transportation including trains and classic cars. He was especially committed to and proud of his career with DART that spanned almost 50 years. John was a charismatic and respectful man who never met a stranger. He had a knack for knowing when it was time to get a milkshake.
