I was so saddened to hear of Byron's passing. I will always remember his kindness and quick wit that made him so special. And he was so proud of his perfect attendance record throughout his time at LNB -- even when he had surgery, he used vacation time to keep the record in tact! My sincerest condolences for the passing of your loved one. I worked with Byron at Lubbock National Bank, and I considered Byron one of my mentors. We worked together on several bank projects, and he was always willing to help me in my banking career. I will always cherish his memory, and especially his laugh which could be heard quite often in the bank lobby. I always looked up to Byron, and he was a valuable part of the bank team. John Byron (or "JB" as I called him) were friends from our days as Cub Scouts, working summers on the Edwards family farm and graduation from high school & college. Sadly, we then went our separate ways. However, I will always remember my friend JB.
