John T. Eiland's Obituary
Mr. John Troy Eiland born in San Antonio, TX October 31, 1945 passed away in Dallas, TX October 19, 2020 at the age of 74.
Troy, a graduate of Highlands High School in San Antonio, was currently employed by Cisco Systems in Dallas. A sales and marketing professional, his career spanned decades in both the telecom and tech industries.
Troy was an avid sports fan, especially baseball, football and golf. He also loved going to movies with his wife of 39 years Leslie whenever they could.
He was preceded in death by his parents W.P. Pete Eiland and Opal Eiland, and brothers Wayne P. Eiland And William Eiland.
Troy is survived by his spouse Leslie and three sons Travis(Christen)of Boerne, TX, Jason(Courtney) of Austin,TX and Aaron(Annelise)of San Francisco, CA.; and sister Rosemary Hummel(Steve) of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by six adoring grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Troy’s great sense of humor and big heart will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
