John Espinoza was born on November 13, 1938 in Maxwell, Texas and passed away on February 2, 2017 in Sunnyvale, Texas at the age of 78. Preceded in death by his parents, Salomon and Antonia Espinoza; daughter Vanessa Espinoza; sisters Margaret Lollar, Carmen Vasquez and Rosie Martinez; brothers Simon Espinoza and Joe Espinoza. John is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn Emmons Espinoza; daughters Paula Hughes and husband Randy, Sherian Brown, and Cynthia Flournoy and husband Jason; grandchildren LeAnn Fincher, Rachel Schulze and husband Timothy, Jordan Brown, Aaron Brown, Ryan Espinoza, Jenna Flournoy, and Madeline Flournoy; great-grandchildren Fabian Lopez, Memori Lopez, Timothy Schulze III, and Skylar Schulze; great- great-grandson Matthew Lopez; brother Pete Espinoza; sisters Hopie Cavallo and Elizabeth Mattoon; numerous nieces and nephews. John enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family. He attended W. H. Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas. He was employed as a truck driver for Sears, Roebuck and Co. in the Retail Distribution Center for 38 yrs. He was employed part time for 42 years for the Freeman Company as a convention, tradeshow, journeyman display builder, decorator, and driver through IUPAT Local 756. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Meadowview in Mesquite, Texas. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11 AM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park ,13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas, 75243.
