John Gordon's Obituary
GORDON, JOHN A. 65, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012. He was born September 17, 1947 in Great Bend, Kansas. John is survived by his wife, Judy (Kirk), daughters, Vanessa (Bailey) and Christy (Troost), granddaughter, Kaylee (Troost), brother, Bob, and sister, Sheila (Miller). John was a civic leader of The Colony. He served as a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Rotary, the Colony Business Association, the Chamber of Commerce, and the The Colony City Council. He graduated from Kansas State and successfully ran his own business, Gordon and Gordon Insurance, for 30 years. His joyful and jolly spirit touched many lives. Funeral services will be Monday, November 12, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Visitaion one hour prior. Graveside memorial on Thursday in Scott City, KS.
