John Hampton McNeill's Obituary
Born August 13, 1946 passed away July 6, 2016. John passed away peacefully at age 69 in Dallas, Texas where he lived nearly all of his life. John earned a degree in marketing at East Texas State University. He was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity where he met many friends and business associates, some of whom he remained close to throughout his life. John met Lori Hill when she visited ETSU and they married in 1971. Their daughter, Jennifer Lynn McNeill, was born in 1976. As an independent businessman, John’s love of business lasted his entire life and was still his chosen profession when he died. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Hampton Hall and Mary Ward McNeill. He is survived by his sister Judy, her daughter Bronwyn, his daughter Jennifer (Mark) Johnson and her two sons Rhone and Cassady. His ashes will be laid to rest next to his mother and father at Restland Cemetery, where there will be a service to honor his life Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM. His long time friends and family are welcome to attend. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
