John Field Hancock's Obituary
HANCOCK, JOHN FIELD born January 28, 1927 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed away peacefully with his daughters nearby at home on August 6, 2014. John was preceded in death by the love of his life, Judy (Julia) Hancock, as well as his loving daughter, Sharon Nystrom and son-in-law, Mark Nystrom. He is survived by his two daughters, Terri Seidl and her husband, Larry Seidl, and their son, Duncan; Linda Seloff and her husband, Steve Seloff and their two children, Sam and Taylor, as well as two granddaughters, Elise’ Nystrom and Erica Nystrom. John and Judy were longtime members of First United Methodist Church of Richardson and Kissin Kuzzins Square Dance Club. We are all blessed by the valuable friendships throughout the years and consider them all extended family. John and Judy enjoyed traveling the World with his extended family. Family will receive friends on August 7, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on August 8, 2014 at 3:30 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to: First United Church of Richardson, Texas.
