John "David" Hancock's Obituary
John "David" Hancock, age 63, of Mineral Wells TX, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025. Born on December 31, 1961, in Longview, Texas, John was the beloved son of John Ben Hancock and Dessie Louise Martindale Hancock.
David was preceded in death by his loving wife, Teelia, with whom he shared 23 years of marriage and a total of 33 wonderful years together, and by his parents, John and Dessie Hancock. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
David leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is survived by his daughters, Amber Cook and Amanda Lindeman; his sons, Jonathan Bounds and Daniel Bounds and wife Frances Bounds. He is also survived by his sister, Sandra Hancock; brothers, Paul Hancock and Brian Wyatt; and a cherished group of grandchildren—four grandsons, eleven granddaughter's and two great granddaughters' —who brought him immense joy.
David will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be remembered always.
