John Wilburn Hill Jr.'s Obituary
HILL, JR. JOHN WILBURN at 86 years of age, went to meet his Lord and Savior on March 29, 2013. He was born May 11, 1926 in Hillsboro, TX. He served in the Navy during WWII. He married the love of his life, Vivian Jay, in 1958. Together they had one daughter, Vickie. In 1984, John became a grandfather for the first time and proudly took on the name of “Deke”, which he was referred to by his 2 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Hill; father, John W. Hill, and sister, Dorothy Hill Ling. John worked for the United States Post Office for 35 years. He was a resident of Richardson, Texas for over 50 years and a devoted member of Northrich Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Vivian; daughter, Vickie and husband, Dave Ryan; grandson, Cullen Ryan and wife, Katie; granddaughter, Carter Ryan Forsong and husband, Jesse; great-grandchildren, Johnny Ryan, Adeline Ryan and Payton Forsong. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Monday, April 1, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Northrich Baptist Church followed by burial at Restland Memorial Park.
