John Weldon Jackson's Obituary
Born September 3, 1922 in Henderson, Texas and passed away December 29, 2011 in Rockwall, Texas. Survived by wife of 64 years, Ruth Jackson; two daughters, Sharron Hutchison and husband Joe of Dallas , and Cheryl Barnes of Dallas; granddaughter Lauren Firestein and her husband Jon of San Francisco, California; two sisters, two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Weldon was a Veteran of World War II and served in the Navy in the South Pacific. He was a kind loving husband, father and friend. He loved God, his wife and children. Weldon enjoyed watching sports especially basketball. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be from 2:30pm to 3:00pm Saturday at graveside. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 3pm at Restland Memorial Park.
