John Lee Johnson's Obituary
In loving memory of Johnny (John) Lee Johnson, born on March 17, 1946, in Tampa, FL, and a longtime resident of Dallas, TX. He embarked on his life's journey at an early age in Dallas, where he would go on to create a lifetime of memories. On February 23, 1971, John joined hands in marriage with Agnes Dunn, marking the beginning of a beautiful partnership that would endure through the years.
A wonderful and amazing husband and father, John's legacy is etched in the hearts of those who knew him best. He is survived by his devoted wife, Agnes Johnson, and their four children: Johnny Johnson Jr., Christie Barrett, Jamie Nelson, and Ashley Spinosa. His eight grandchildren were the source of immeasurable pride and joy. John's infectious laughter, warm smile, and a penchant for silliness made him a cherished presence in the lives of his loved ones.
An individual of diverse interests, John's engineering prowess shone through his passion for building race car motors and, later in life, crafting speakers. He found exhilaration in driving fast American cars, riding motorcycles, and working on the family farm in Paris, TX. Fishing and a deep appreciation for music were woven into the fabric of his being. His love for life, animals, and family manifested in the thoughtful gestures that touched the hearts of those around him. As we bid farewell to this remarkable soul, we find solace in the enduring memory of John's radiant smile—a perpetual reminder of the joy he brought to all who were fortunate enough to share in his presence.
