I first met John 2 years ago when I volunteered to serve in Prestonwood’s Special Friends Ministry. It was so meaningful serving as John’s “buddy” during Sunday’s Bible Study Class as we studied Gods word and worshiped together. Also, it was an honor hosting John at this year’s Prom at Prestonwood.
I’m a better person as a result of John’s influence on my life. I personally connected with John and will miss his hand touches and eye contact. His wonderful Mom Sarah is amazing and it was so impactful to see her devotional love for her son John. I pray for peace, comfort, and understanding for Sarah and the rest of her family.
I will miss my friend John dearly and cherish our memories together. I find peace celebrating John’s life knowing he is in heaven with the Lord. It’s not goodbye, but rather see him again one day in the future. Rest in peace my friend.
