John Paul Jones' Obituary
John Paul Jones was born on June 13, 1928 and passed away December 8, 2015 in Garland, Texas. He was born to Theodore T. Jones and Rose Sharpe in Enon, Louisiana. John was a delightful man who loved being around people. He especially enjoyed being the center of attention by telling “Cajun” stories and making others laugh. After years of being a caregiver for his wife, John became a volunteer at the nursing facility, where the residents staff could depend on his helpful and giving spirit. They began to look forward to John Paul’s special south Louisiana dishes and his big smile. He will be remembered by his two daughters, three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren and the many friends whose lives he touched. An open visitation will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from noon until 8p.m. at Restland Funeral Home for those who would like to pay their respect. The graveside service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Restland Memorial Park, Veteran II Garden.
