NELSON, JOHN WILLIAM (J.W.) born March 17, 1928 in Kemp, Texas and passed away July 1, 2014 in Garland Texas. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ada Ruyle, Helen Lawrence, Olene Barnard, and brother, Elmer Nelson, Jr. J.W. is survived by his wife, Della; son, Mike Nelson; daughter, Vicki Gilbreath; grandchildren: Greg and Scott Nelson, Melanie Monsey and Kimberly Young and 7 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel, Dallas, Texas 75234. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dallas Area Parkinson’s Association or Hella Shrine Temple.
