John Robert Kiskin's Obituary
John Robert Kiskin, known as Jake, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 62 on August 19, 2020 at his home in Mesquite, Texas. He was born in Lorain, Ohio to parents James and Patricia Kucia Kiskin. He grew up in Bay Village, Ohio, where he spent summers on Kelleys Island, and graduated from Bay Village High School. While in Bay Village he was an active boater and loved to go to the beach, boating, sailing, and water skiing. After graduating from Ohio State University he moved to Texas, where he went on to receive his MBA at the University of Dallas.
Jake is survived by his loving children, son Johnny (Kayla) of Murrieta, California, and daughter Jennifer of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by his two brothers Billy (Darlene) and Terry (Therese), and his .1 sister Valerie (Mark) Zwyssig, and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jake enjoyed spending afternoons on his boat, was an avid Spanish speaker, and loved traveling to new and exciting places. He was a devoted fan of the Cowboys, but he always remained an ardent Browns Fan.
