John Andrew Luna's Obituary
Our angel got his wings and is now in the arms of God. John Andrew Luna was born April 18, 1982 in Dallas, Texas to Allen and Linda Luna. He went to heaven on June 14, 2011. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles H. Mercer, Sr. and Odell and Gene Luna. He is survived by his parents and siblings: sister, Amy Whisenhunt and husband, Chad; his brothers, Jeffrey Luna, Casey Luna and wife Veronica and Matthew Luna; his grandmother, Patsy Mercer; niece, Alexis Whisenhunt; nephews, Jake, Parker and Creed Whisenhunt and Eli Luna and several special aunts, uncles and cousins. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 2002 and went to work for NorthPark management for seven years. He loved God, his family and friends and his country. He was the friendliest person you ever met and literally loved everyone he met. We will miss him until we meet again. Services will be held at Skillman Church of Christ, 3014 Skillman St.; Dallas, TX 75206, on Friday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of ministers Jerry Perry and Chuck Adair. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Skillman Church of Christ Children’s Ministry.
